“Fosik’s feral creations take the shape of fantastic beings that communicate a subversive, anti-religious commentary through the depiction of hyperbolized fictional gods. Nameless, assigned no specific meanings or powers, beholden to no formal faith—real or contrived—Fosik’s idols are not meant to contribute to some grand theological narrative of the artist’s design. They are masterfully made beautiful objects that examine the nature of spiritual iconography through an absence of religious discourse. In this way, Fosik points to the power and scope of man’s innate creativity devoid of divine inspiration.”

They say blood is thicker than water. But syrup is thicker than blood. Should I sell my family to buy pancakes?
THEY SAY GRACE IS THICKER THAN BLOOD. GRACE IS DUMB.
I’M SORRY, YOU AREN’T DUMB. THAT WAS SORTA MEAN.
More old art used for worldbuilding inspiration.
Shield-beasts are a wide classification of Wilds that have various subspecies. Named for their heavily armored heads, most either have very poor eyesight or no eyes at all, relying on sounds and smells to navigate. Many species are domesticated for meat and beasts of burden.
The bottom one I’m tempted to use as inspiration to create a Creature species, which would further cause confusion for the Creatures vs Wilds debate.
CSULB’s illustration club has decided to start having monthly contests. This month’s topic was centaurs and I can’t resist those ridiculous critters.
UPDATE: I won the contest!
Alduin speedpaint/study thingy I guess
The way the feets squish out to the sides when they hit the ground is JUST OMG IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY I ACTUALLY SQUEALED AND I THINK MY HUSBAND THINKS I”M RETARDED.
Another reason I love this game so much. These babies show weight and movement so well X3
This game is so much fun
The ophanim are by far the best angels though seriously
I’ve always loved “angels” that look like strange otherworldly beings, rather than humans with wings
It simply isn’t an adventure worth telling if there aren’t any dragons.
Man, the dragons in Game of Thrones are so pretty
